Ring Doorbells

As a benefit and extra security to our renters, at each of our rental units, we utilize the Ring Doorbell system on the exterior of our units.  This doorbell system acts as your active doorbell system for your unit.  When the doorbell is depressed, it will alert you via a connected chime inside your unit.  These Ring Doorbell cameras are on the exterior only, facing toward the outside direction.  No cameras or recording devices are located on the inside of the units. We value and respect your privacy, and only utilize the camera systems in public/common areas.

Second, the ring doorbell does allow us to monitor the units when they are not rented.  It also alerts us when a package/mail is delivered.  While we don't have this problem in our community, it has been proven that use of Ring Doorbell system discourages burglaries and mail/package theft, as the potential intruder knows he/she is being recorded. 

Finally, we carefully selected the Ring Pro2 doorbell system, as it provides an instant communications link to us as your hosts.  When the Ring button is depressed, we are notified via our cell phones.  If we notice it is you, and potentially are experiencing a problem with entering your unit, we can have an instant conversation via the Ring system to troubleshoot the issue or provide alternative instructions to resolve your issue.  We find our renters are comforted by having direct/instant contact with us in case issues arise that warrant immediate attention.
